A woman in Zambia smiles in late afternoon light, holding two Puritan Treasures for Today books.

The generosity arm of Reformation Heritage Books

The Puritans, made readable and given away.

The riches of the Puritans, translated into the world’s languages, published freely in print and online, and placed in believers’ hands.

Who we are

Opening the Puritans to the whole church.

RHB Outreach is the generosity arm of Reformation Heritage Books, commissioned in January 2026 to strengthen the global church by making biblical, experiential theology accessible in many languages, cultures, and formats. We translate and print the Puritan Treasures for Today with partners around the world, publish them free on ThePuritans.com, and produce video and audio that reach from pulpits to prison cells, so that believers may know God more deeply, understand Scripture more clearly, and pursue holiness more earnestly.

The inheritance

A rich heritage, kept in print.

Reformation Heritage Books has gathered, edited, and printed the Puritans for thirty years: Owen, Watson, Flavel, Brooks, Manton, Perkins, Goodwin, within a catalog of more than 3,000 titles. It is a library of experiential theology, kept in print, and now to be given. Most of the world has never opened it.

Faith will starve unless it is fed by continual meditation on God’s promises.

What stands in the way

Three barriers between a believer and the book.

The books exist. The problem is reach. Much of Christ’s church speaks another language and knows the Puritans only by rumor, and the ways believers read have multiplied: a printed page, a screen, a voice in the ear. The truth has not changed. The distance can be closed.

  1. 01

    Language

Translation takes years for a single language, and many languages are still waiting.

  2. 02

    Comprehension

The theology is dense, so each volume is carefully abridged for readers today.

  3. 03

    Format

A village shelf needs print, a prison cell needs audio, a home needs family worship.

The series

Puritan Treasures for Today.

The Puritans made readable: short, warm, carefully abridged editions. The theology is untouched; the barriers are lowered. More than seventy titles are already free to read at ThePuritans.com, the open online library of the series, with a trailer for each title.

The church is hungry.

Wherever the Puritans are preached, pastors and believers gather by the hundreds, and they leave asking for more.

Dr. Joel Beeke hands a book from an open box to a smiling young woman.

Hand to hand.

Every title we translate and publish is carried by partners to churches, conferences, and training events.

Hers to keep.

A book written centuries ago, read today in her own language. It goes home with her, and it keeps giving long after we have gone.

Watch

From pulpits to prison cells.

On YouTube: trailers for each title, short Q&As, and films from the field. The same teaching travels as video and audio into places a printed book cannot reach, including prisons.

How it works

How a gift becomes a book.

  1. You give

Your gift goes toward translating, publishing, and giving away the Puritan Treasures for Today, in print and online.

  2. Partners translate

Trusted partners who live where the language is spoken translate each title under an agreement with RHB.

  3. Printed locally

Partners print it where it will be read, and where they agree, the text goes free onto ThePuritans.com.

  4. Given away

Partners carry them to churches, conferences, and pastors’ training events, and RHB takes no profit.

Give

Put a book in a hand.

A gift of any size to RHB Outreach funds translation, printing, and free distribution of Puritan Treasures for Today: the next language, the next printing, the next hand. Give once or monthly, as the Lord leads.
